Create your account, set up your company, and invite your team.
Account Setup
Creating Your Account
To start using Basalt PMS, visit basaltpms.com and click Get Started. You can sign up with your email address or use Google authentication for a faster setup.
After signing up, you'll receive a confirmation email. Click the link to verify your account and proceed to the onboarding wizard.
Onboarding Wizard
The onboarding wizard guides you through the initial setup:
- Company name — Enter your studio or team name
- Logo — Upload your company logo (optional, can be added later)
Setting Your Profile
Complete your profile by adding your name, avatar, and preferred language. Basalt PMS runs in Russian with partial English support — you can switch languages at any time from Settings.
Creating a Company
Company Setup
After creating your account, set up your company workspace. Navigate to Studio → Overview and fill in your company details:
- Company Name — Your studio or team name
- Logo — Upload your company logo (recommended: 256×256px)
- Subdomain — Choose a unique subdomain for your client portal (e.g.,
yourcompany.basaltpms.com)
Portal Subdomain
Your company's subdomain is used for the Client Portal. Clients will access their projects through this URL. Choose a short, memorable slug — it cannot be changed later without contacting support.
Inviting Your Team
Creating an Invite Link
Invite team members via Studio → Invitations. Create an invite link by selecting a role for new members:
- Admin — Full access to all features and settings
- Manager — Can manage projects, tasks, and team members
- Editor — Access to assigned projects and file uploads
Each link can have a custom name, usage limit, and expiration period (up to 365 days).
Joining via Link
Share the invite link with your team member. When they open it, they'll see a join page and click Join. If they already have a Basalt account, they'll be added to your company immediately. New users will need to create an account first.
You can copy the link or download a QR code for easy sharing.
Interface Overview
Dashboard
The Dashboard is your home base. It shows an overview of active projects, recent tasks, upcoming deadlines, and team activity. Use the sidebar to navigate between sections.
Navigation
The sidebar is organized into sections:
- Dashboard — Overview and quick stats
- Tasks — Personal task list
- Notes — Personal notes
- All Projects — Editing projects
- Requests — Incoming client requests
- Videos — Video assets
- Portfolio Studio — Manage public portfolio pages
- Editors — Editor team management
- Clients — Client database
- Studio — Company settings, team, invitations, roles, and plan
- Finances — Financial tracking, analytics, PNL, and cash flow
- Settings — Profile and account configuration
Available sections depend on your role in the company.
